Erie echo of The Matrix, this predecessor is a movie examining the culture of the sleeping population; those that have been asleep and have become happy, complacent, in that sleep. The end of this clip does shed hope of the awakening, the unplugging, if you will.

I had the chance to see this at Telluride several years ago with the actors being there themselves. Of all the films I saw there, My Dinner with Andre was the one which moved me the most and stuck in my consciousness. I was happy to see part of it posted here.
